The export division of "Enterprise Georgia" aims to promote the export potential of the country in order to increase the export volume of domestic products and the competitiveness of local products in international markets.

 

Export Assistance Program

In order to increase Georgia's export potential and give more opportunities to export-oriented small and medium businesses, "Enterprise Georgia" launched the export assistance program. The program includes technical assistance with export companies, including removal of export barriers for beneficiary companies, introduction of export stimulation mechanisms to promote diversification of export market/products/services, identification of products and sectors with high export potential and stimulation of international sales.

The identified sectors are: food, beverage, clothing, accessories, fashion, leather, lighting, construction materials, pharmaceuticals, architecture & design, information & communication technologies, business consulting.

 

Program Components

  • Product licensing and certification - introducing international standard production audit. Obtaining an international quality certificate and a license for the product created by the entrepreneur. The amount of financing was determined at 20,000 GEL. (For more information, visit the website)

  • Branding - deepening the brand formation and development strategy; rebranding and packaging according to the brandbook. The amount of financing was determined at 20,000 GEL. (For more information, visit the website)

  • International sales stimulation - promotion of entering the international trade network. This includes entry fees or fees for the same content within the limits set in the given target markets: Gulf countries, EU countries, UK, USA, Canada, Japan. Export Assistance

 
  • Organizing international exhibitions - coordination, organization and co-sponsoring of B2B exhibitions so that the local companies can establish new business connections, meet potential partners and diversify according to the export market.

  • Organizing trade missions - planning, organizing and co-financing of B2B meetings, so that Georgian export-oriented companies can find new partners and expand their business according to the export market.

  • Connecting Georgian companies with foreign buyers - according to the requirements of interested international parties, connecting them with the Georgian companies suitable to their wishes.

  • Registering companies on the trade platform www.tradewithgeorgia.com - the purpose of the platform is to present Georgian products and services to the international market and to facilitate operations in the international market.

 

Export Development

  • Access to information on export procedures - description of export procedures, provision of export information, documents and certificates.

  • Access to foreign market customer tariff information - Identifying selected foreign market tariffs for Georgian manufacturers.

  • Education - the purpose of the course is to increase the professional skills and knowledge of employees of Georgian export-oriented companies.

  • EEN (Enterprise Europe Networks) - a network that helps small and medium-sized businesses grow and innovate internationally. It is the world's largest support network for small and medium-sized business producers with international ambitions.
